Assembler - 1st Shift (Electronic Assembly)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Assembler to join our 1st shift production team in San Jose. This role involves assembling electronic components and subassemblies in a clean room environment, following detailed instructions and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and subassemblies using hand tools and fixtures
• Read and follow work orders, drawings, schematics, and written instructions
• Mount components such as resistors, capacitors, ICs, transformers, and connectors
• Perform soldering, wiring, fastening, and press-fit assembly
• Install completed assemblies into cases or cabinets
• Conduct basic testing and inspections (go/no-go)
• Support intermediate assembly processes including cleaning, epoxy application, potting, and curing
• Operate basic assembly and production equipment as required
• Follow ESD, safety, and clean room procedures

Qualifications

• Electronics or assembly experience preferred (manufacturing or production environment)
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work in a clean room environment
• Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on assembly work
• Reliable attendance and ability to work 1st shift consistently
• Ability to read basic assembly drawings and instructions
